Mrs. Khristian:

Hello, I am Mrs. Khristian. I am thirty nine years old and I have over twenty six years experience working as a nanny and a childcare provider. I am currently a collage student, finishing out my BA in early childhood education. I am also the proud mother to my two wonderful sons, Hawkins + Hendriks. I am married to my high school sweetheart Kris; we have been together over twenty one years and married over thirteen years now. I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, practicing yoga, cooking, baking, going on picnics and the sound of baby laughs.

Being inspired to open Little Sprouts Preschool was an effortless thought. Growing up my grandmother always told me, "Honey, you are going to be a great teacher." Funny because I never though much of the idea yet I would put on music productions, play school and organize summer camp outs with my younger sister and cousins. Watching them learn, respond and engage in these events made my world go round. I guess you can say I just wanted to keep my world on its axis by having the opportunity to have a positive impact on one more child’s life.

My Philosophy

I firmly believe that the first years of a child's life are by far the most influential, having the highest impact on how a foundation will be laid out for intellectual and emotional development. I take great care through a nurturing and personalized experience to provide individual attention, a warm, loving and fun environment while accompanied by guidance and structure. I strive to foster your child's imagination, individuality and personality. My ultimate goal is to provide a place where children know they are accepted, wanted, loved and protected; helping to inspire a child’s sense of self worth and purpose.

Every day that I get the opportunity to view the world through a child’s eyes, be included in their games and join in their laughter is a privileged I feel honored to have. This is how I choose to spend my days, and nothing could fill my heart more nor bring me greater joy than being able to be apart of their world. Having children of my own, I understand how difficult it can be to leave your child in someone else’s care. With this understanding, I truly appreciate the trust you instill into me on a daily basis. Therefore, my goal is to build your trust by being dependable, professional, honest, and most importantly by demonstrating the same love and care I would want for my own children.

I absolutely feel that good communication between parents and a care provider is very important in quality daycare. With this understanding, I am committed to creating a strong relationship with you and your child, helping to assure the best start in your child's life.
